Pointing Out Animals

I bought Kaylee a new animal book. This is her second time "reading" through it. She pointed out a lot of the animals first time through!

Pointed to: duck, cat, dog, bunny, elephant, sheep, pig, turtle, fish, bird, bear, monkey, zebra

I think cow would be an easy one, but she can never find the cow.

I couldn't get them all on video though. It was too hard trying to keep her interested and manuver the camera. :( Maybe she will "read" to you over Skype!

I kept trying to record her dancing, but everytime I turned the camera on, she froze up. This is the best I could do.

One year ago. My, how she's grown!

"Poop-in-the-Potty"

Kaylee pooping in her potty. She ran into the bathroom and yelled, "Poop!" I went in and sure enough, she had pooped in her diaper. She did it two more times. (Once, she actually did poop, but the second time she was just showing off.)

I hope when she really learns, she doesn't hand

me her toilet paper after she goes potty.

• Can point and clearly say "eye," "ear," "hair," "nose," "feet," "knee," and "bel-e-un-en" (bellybutton)
• Can say animal noises for dog, cat, duck, cow, sheep
• New words: "Hug," "down," "mine," "Miko," "Keiser," "stop," "cookie," "go," "juice," "on," "hot," "pretty," "happy," "milk," "shoes," "duck," "bath," "bubbles," "Elmo," and "I want juice"
• When upset, will sit in corner to calm self down
• When getting dressed or hair done, will pet herself and say "pretty"
• Likes to wrap dolls and stuffed animals in blankets, put diapers on them, and walk them in the toy stroller; also gives them lots of hugs and kisses!
• Sings "Happy and You Know It" in the car to self; will say "happy, happy, happy" "kick, kick, kick" and kick feet; will do claps, kicks, and wave arms when mommy sings it
• Likes to sit in poopy diapers
• Likes to feed the dogs and give them cookies; thinks that everytime the dogs come in from the backyard they deserve a cookie!
• Dances to music and loves pretend play
• Loves to "help" wash dishes, sweep, vacuum, and feed the dogs

This is for you daddy! You should see her face everytime she hears you on the phone. It just lights up! :) She always has animated conversations with you.
